The Changan company presented an updated version of the Auchan X5 crossover about two weeks ago. During the modernization, the Chinese model was refined both externally and internally. Now Changan Company has launched Auchan X5 sales in the home market.
The Chinese crossover looks a lot like the Kia Seltos. In particular, with a 4490 mm length, the distance between the front and rear axles is 2710 mm. At the same time, Auchan X5 offers more equipment at a price about 300 thousand less than the cost of Kia Seltos in Russia. The Chinese novelty on the home market is available for a minimum of 79.9 thousand yuan (906 thousand rubles).
The Auchan X5 comes with 18-inch wheels. The cabin is equipped with an 8-inch touch screen. The dashboard is complemented by a 3.5-inch information display. The Chinese model stands out for its premium equipment, which is accentuated by the leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel and seats. Optionally, a 7-inch digital instrument panel, an electric sunroof, navigation, a 10, 25-inch touchscreen, full LED lighting technology, a driver's voice recognition device, side airbags and curtain airbags are supplied with the crossover. There is also a remote engine start system.
By default, the updated Auchan X5 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.6 liter engine. Its maximum output does not exceed 128 hp. with a torque of 161 N * m. This motor is combined only with a continuously variable variator, which simulates 8 gears. Note that Auchan X5 may come to the Russian market later. The Changan company has repeatedly stressed that it plans to launch the supply of cars of this brand to our country.
