Changan Company held an event in which it announced its development strategy for the coming years. Here the manufacturer officially introduced the new Avita brand, which was announced back in the spring. At this event, 2 more concept electric models were shown, which are known so far only under the factory indexes E11 and C385.
Changan said it intends to create a new approach to vehicle design. They will be equipped with electronics that support remote control and diagnostic functions. The Avita brand, for which the brand new CHN platform has already been created, will help to achieve this goal. Changan has teamed up with CATL, which will supply batteries for electric vehicles, and Huawei, an electronics and software company, to develop its future lineup.
The Chinese concern said 11 new vehicles will be launched on the CHN platform in the coming years, including a coupe, minivan and SUV. The latter, which is just assigned the index E11, is partially declassified in the official photo. But the first model built on the CHN platform will be the Changan C385 electric sedan. The manufacturer said that this car is equipped with equipment that independently parks the car, and is complemented by pulse heating technology, which solves the problem of operating electric cars in low temperatures.
Note that Changan became the first Chinese company to implement the automatic parking function on production vehicles. But this technology will be improved for future electric cars.
