About a month ago, the first images of the new Uni-V sedan that Changan is developing were leaked online. This model is expected to compete directly with the Kia K5. Now Changan has completely declassified the appearance of the novelty and partly the interior.
The Chinese model is designed in the style of Uni brand crossovers. Like them, the sedan has a large radiator grille, the pattern of which is made up of small rectangular strips that smoothly merge into the front bumper. The Uni-V's narrow head optics stretch along the lower edge of the voluminous bonnet. The front bumper is complemented by huge side cutouts for such a car, in which compact LED lights are visible, stacked vertically.
The stern of the Uni-V is complemented by through lights, above which there is a barely visible spoiler. In the rear bumper, another cutout is provided, which covers a kind of rounded visor. Under it, in the form of a thin line, there are ribbons of fog lamps and brake lights. At the bottom of the rear bumper, 2 exhaust pipes are fixed.
One of the published photos shows that, apparently, an optional full spoiler will be offered with the Uni-V. In the cabin, the Chinese novelty has dual screens. Moreover, the multimedia touchscreen is slightly deployed towards the driver's seat. The photographs show the presence of voids in the cabin. This suggests that the car is still under development. According to rumors, the Uni-V will be equipped with a 1.5-liter supercharged engine developing up to 188 hp. useful power. Together with this engine, the Chinese sedan will be able to accelerate up to 205 km / h. There is a possibility that a 2-liter turbo engine will also be offered with the top-end versions of the Uni-V.
