Several years have passed since General Motors removed budget models of the Chevrolet brand from the Russian market. But the American company is officially returning to our country. The first model to appear on the Russian market will be the latest generation Chevrolet Trailblazer compact crossover. The start of car sales is scheduled for September 15th.
Chevrolet has already announced the configuration and price of the base version of the Trailblazer. In Russia, the American novelty will be presented in four versions, costing from two million rubles. Under the hood of the crossover, only one turbocharged engine with a volume of 1.3 liters is installed, which develops up to 150 hp. useful power. The Trailblazer is equipped with a CVT as standard. For a surcharge, buyers will be offered four-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
In the initial version of the Trailblazer, you can find 6 airbags, an air conditioning system, a stereo system and electric heated seats in the first row. Modifications with leather seats, a parking radar, roof rails and equipment that provide keyless engine start and access to the salon will cost a little more.
Further down the list are the trim levels that offer better trims and decorative trims for the bumpers and exhaust pipes. The Trailblazer is optionally supplied with a large grille, which gives the crossover a more aggressive look. It is also interesting that the top-end American model will be available with rear-wheel drive.
Recall that since 2019, Chevrolet has been releasing the Trailblazer crossover instead of a frame SUV. The change in positioning of the model led to the fact that the sales of this car increased sharply in the home market.
