The strategic plan of the American auto brand General Motors envisages the release of about 30 new electric cars by 2025. One of the future novelties has already managed to "light up" on the Web. This is an electrified modification of the Chevrolet Equinox crossover. The day before, patent photographs of the SUV, which are planned to be produced at the facilities of the Chinese-American joint venture SAIC-GM, were published on the Web.

If we talk about the exterior of the new SUV, then it resembles the classic Equinox due to the similar shape of the doors and roof (photo: motortrend.com). At the same time, the front end of the cross is much closer to the new Chevrolet Bolt, as well as its electric modification. The main design features of the SUV are an LED insert between the head optics, as well as a dummy air intake built into the bumper.

From the side, the car stands out thanks to its original wheel rims as well as the unique design of the front fenders. In addition, the SUV should receive an impressive plastic body kit, which is visually perceived to be much denser and more powerful than on the version with a classic internal combustion engine.
The crossover feed will look completely new. Here we can note the original bumper, which does not protrude from the body at all. This section will also be fitted with new spoiler and lights. Naturally, the SUV will not receive an exhaust system. There are also no decorative tailpipes in the rear bumper.
