One of the cheapest Chevrolet models goes outside of China: Monza will now be sold under a different name

One of the cheapest models of the American brand Chevrolet is the Monza sedan, which is available to motorists exclusively in China. On the eve of the Internet there was information that this "state employee" is planned to be sold outside the Celestial Empire market. Presumably, the sedan will be sold as a completely new model called the Cavalier Turbo. The first market, where the novelty will go, will be the Mexican one.

New Cavalier Turbo

So far, only three photographs of the new "Cavalier" have been published on the Web, which allow us to conclude that the exported model will not receive any visual differences from the Chinese variation of the Monza. It should be noted that on the territory of the Celestial Empire the "sporty" version of the RS sedan, as well as the Redline modification, are still available. Both variations visually differ from the standard version due to the additional decor. Apparently, these modifications of the car will not be available in the Mexican car market.

The dimensions of the Chevrolet Monza body are 4614x1798x1485 mm, and its distance between the axles is 2640 mm. Apparently, the dimensions of the Cavalier Turbo will completely duplicate the Chinese "brother". It is assumed that the list of equipment of the budget sedan will include: LED headlights, 16-inch aluminum wheel rims, seats, door panels, as well as a leather-trimmed steering wheel, a multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen display, a rear-view camera, a parking sensor, sunroof, monitoring the situation in the "blind" zones.

It is known that in the Mexican car market, Chevrolet will be sold with a turbo engine installed under the hood, but what characteristics this model will have is not yet clear. The Cavalier Turbo's transmission capabilities are also silent. The start of sales of the American "state employee" in the Mexican car market should take place before the end of this year, and its deliveries will be carried out from China.
