The fact that German automaker BMW is preparing an update for its most compact crossover, the X1, is no secret. It is expected that during the change of generations, the car will receive many new solutions and improvements. At the moment, the pre-production version of the model is actively participating in test drives, and the spies are trying to take as many pictures of it as possible in order to try to declassify the exterior and interior of the future novelty.

The main innovation that will be endowed with the SUV is two large curved displays from the digital instrument panel and the multimedia system. Visually, both screens look like a single whole, which is in line with current trends.

The exterior of the next generation of the cross will differ from the current version due to the revised design of the bumpers, an updated grille, and other head optics.
The power parameters of the new items will include gasoline and diesel engines, as well as hybrid modifications and electrical installations. Moreover, for the electrified version, the developer will propose the name BMW iX1. The official show of the SUV is scheduled for next spring, after which the serial assembly and sales of the car will start.
