The Spanish dealership of BMW will bring to the country perhaps the sportiest and most powerful compact hatchback - the M135i xDrive in the Performance Edition. The batch will be limited to only 75 pieces. Therefore, residents of Spain should hurry up and leave a pre-order for the model as soon as possible. It is not yet known whether this car will arrive in Russia, but even if not, the car does not become less interesting from this. The party is so small that only forty cars will go to Japan, for example. The model will be on sale only by pre-order through the official BMW website and will receive a sportier aggressive design thanks to a body kit from M Performance.
The special body kit will have a high-gloss black finish. The hatchback body can be painted in Alpine White, Melbourne Red and Storm Gray from a special BMW Individual palette, which was recently available for the younger 1-Series. Glossy black covers the radiator grille and vertical air intakes at the edges of the front bumper, as well as the rear-view mirror housings, side skirts and spoiler. In addition, the car will receive new 18-inch alloy wheels. The biggest change is the addition of a carbon fiber diffuser in the rear bumper and a twin tailpipe.
The interior has also become even more attractive. The front seats are sportier with gray Alcantara accents with blue center sections for a completely different interior feel. In addition, the manufacturer installed a ten-inch screen of the NBT multimedia system and a digital instrument panel here.
On the technical side, everything is simple and powerful. The car has received a sports rigid suspension M Performance, which turns the new "penny" into a racing kart with a low stance and amazing handling. Under the hood will be a turbocharged 2.0-liter TwinPower with 306 horsepower. The drive is full with the proprietary xDrive system. The transmission is an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic.
