BMW has applied for two new trademarks, the M7 and M9. But the manufacturer has not yet given any specific information on this matter. In this regard, there have been rumors that BMW is preparing 2 new flagship models with high-performance engines.

The Bavarian concern has applied for trademark registration in the Philippines. But even this indirectly indicates the preparation of new powerful models. Moreover, BMW in the past has already made attempts to release a "charged" version of the 7-Series sedan. Then the Bavarian model was equipped with a 3.5-liter engine, which was borrowed from the M5.
BMW M7 render
Despite the lack of any specific information about the future "charged" sedans, the first renderings of the M7 have already appeared on the Web (photo: drive.com.au). Moreover, an independent designer presented the Bavarian model in the form of a station wagon with a very low ground clearance. The car in this version is not much different from the standard BMW 7-Series. Moreover, visually, the novelty is more like the pre-reform version of the sedan, which should change generations over the next few months.
The M-version of the Bavarian model differs from the standard BMW 7-Series in the shape of the bumpers. The front one is complemented by developed air intakes, while 4 exhaust pipes are built into the rear one at once. It is possible that the trademark registration is intended to secure BMW's rights to use the M7 and M9 names. That is, the Bavarian company may not produce real cars with such indices. Also, the opposite option cannot be ruled out. A few years ago, there were rumors that BMW would release another, larger crossover. And this year a prototype of the new X8 hit the road.
