This model marked the beginning of the popularization of stylish and elegant crossovers with an elegant coupe-like appearance. At the moment, the X6 is presented in Russia in petrol and diesel versions with no alternative 8-speed "automatic" and the xDrive 4WD all-wheel drive system. The manufacturer installs such power units on this car as:

The five-seater coupe-like cross boasts impressive dimensions. The model reaches 4,941 mm in length, 2,019 mm in width and 1,652 mm in height. This car has not the smallest ground clearance of 211 mm, as well as a long wheelbase of 2 972 mm. The curb weight of the car directly depends on the selected internal combustion engine and varies from 2 185 to 2 370 kg. The cross has a spacious trunk of 580 liters.

This German model boasts impressive dynamics and low fuel consumption as standard. The crossover accelerates to the first hundred from a standstill in 3, 8 - 6.5 seconds, depending on the modification. "Maximum speed" is limited to 230 km / h for weaker versions and 250 km / h for top-end power variations. On average, for every 100 km of run, a car spends 6, 6 - 12, 5 liters of fuel (diesel fuel or AI-95 gasoline). The tank holds 83 liters of fuel. This model meets the requirements of the Euro-6 standard.

Options and prices

In the current generation BMW X6 2022 is sold in Russia in the following trim levels: Base, Business Plus, Exclusive, Sport Plus, Sport Pro, M Special, Special by Individual, SE, First Edition. Prices for the model range from 6,800,000 to 13,390,000 rubles. The cost of the car directly depends on the chosen power unit, since the basic equipment does not change so significantly from version to version, because most of the equipment is purchased separately in the form of "special stages". Base

The German coupe-like cross in this generation is sold with almost all units to choose from, except for 4, 4-liter internal combustion engines for 600 and 625 forces. Such a car costs 6,800,000 - 8,770,000 rubles. The equipment includes the following comfort options:

First Edition

Although this configuration will cost the buyer much more expensive than the "base", its equipment differs from the standard not so significantly. Such a model costs 13 390 000 rubles and is sold only with a 4, 4-liter unit for 625 "mares". The manufacturer, the equipment of such a BMW X6 2022 crossover included the following additional options: 21-inch aluminum wheels, door closers, panoramic roof, sports seats, front seats with ventilation and massage, heated rear seats, keyless entry, wireless charging, adaptive cruise, front and rear parking radars, four-zone climate, 16-speaker acoustics. As in the case of the basic version, most of the equipment is bought separately in the form of "special stages" (for example, a rear-view camera, alarm, "spare wheel").

What the German company has really excelled at is in the production of safe cars that guarantee the protection of the driver and passengers in the event of an accident. Handling and off-road performance

The BMW X6 2022 is a massive and oversized crossover that only looks like a clumsy and slow model. In practice, the car is distinguished by decent handling and maneuverability, not inferior to the smaller crossovers that can be found on public roads. The car offers comfortable driving conditions, excellent dynamics and stability on the road, even when changing lanes or turning.

This cross feels easy and confident not only on paved roads, but also outside the city. The dirt road and rough terrain cannot give the car any difficulties. The situation is somewhat worse with off-road, where the car is no longer so confident because of the excessively high power. The best off-road option would be the X6 with a turbodiesel.

Advantages and disadvantages

There are two obvious advantages of this German car on the move. In the first case, we are talking about a recognizable appearance, which guarantees the owner attention and respect on public roads. Such a model gives some additional self-confidence. In addition, the pluses include a large amount of space in the cabin. It is a very comfortable car with a high seating position and ample space for the driver and all passengers. Inside, five people of tall stature and dense build can accommodate without any problems.

In this case, not without characteristic flaws. In particular, the car is very wide, which causes certain inconveniences with the feeling of dimensions while driving. Also, in the most powerful gasoline versions with a dual turbocharger, problems with the gearbox or internal combustion engine can be observed with regular excessive loads.

Design

The coupe-like X6 is loved and dreamed of largely due to its looks. The car is attractive, stylish and ultra-modern. It should be noted that this applies not only to the newest generations, but also to previous generations, which were visually ahead of their time. The cross received a powerful silhouette with a spectacular and aggressive front part, where the manufacturer placed special emphasis on the branded nostrils of the radiator grille, as well as on the head optics. All this is effectively complemented by a body kit with sports diffusers.

The car interior is made in the corporate style of the BMW brand. By the standard, there is nothing superfluous inside, the quality of the materials is impressive, as well as the competent placement of the main controls. Since we are talking about a premium car, it is not surprising that along the perimeter of the cabin there are numerous decorative elements that emphasize the luxury and style of the interior decoration.

Sales start

The first generation BMW coupe-like crossover appeared on the market in November 2009, a year after the official premiere. Now on sale is a model in the third generation in the back of the G06. The official premiere of this car took place in July 2019, and sales of the car in basic modifications started almost immediately. Later, cars in more interesting generations were presented on the market.
