Hyundai is already working on the electrification of the Genesis premium sub-brand lineup. To date, the manufacturer has switched to environmentally friendly engines only one car of this brand. However, Hyundai will soon release the Genesis GV60 electric crossover, a test prototype of which has been caught in camera lenses more than once.

Despite the fact that the Korean novelty has not yet officially debuted, the manufacturer unexpectedly declassified part of the technical characteristics of this model. As expected, it is based on the E-GMP platform. The Genesis GV60 will come with two electric motors that keep all wheels connected. Each of these units produces 218 hp. useful power. The combined output of both electric motors reaches 436 hp. Along with this modification, the Genesis GV60 will also offer 21-inch wheels (photo: blog.naver.com).

Hyundai has probably unveiled the top-end version of its premium electric crossover. If so, then the new Genesis GV60 will not match the Kia EV6 GT in terms of power output. In this model, 2 electric motors together develop up to 586 hp. Also in the published documents you can find the characteristics of the more affordable version of the Genesis GV60. The crossover in this version is equipped with two motors, developing respectively up to 100 and 218 hp. power. Their total output will not exceed 325 hp. The Genesis GV60 is expected to receive all of Hyundai's latest technology. In particular, the electric crossover should be equipped with a biometric driver recognition system and a large touchscreen display, which previously debuted on other models of the Korean brand.
