According to the published information, along with the sports package, buyers receive new chrome elements in black that adorn both bumpers, grille and side doors. The Sport Package also includes 19-inch diamond-cut aluminum wheels and 20-inch dark-coated wheels. Visually, the Korean model in this version also stands out due to the redesigned diffuser and black lenses on the headlights. The sedan has a redesigned steering wheel in a sporty style. The interior is finished with carbon. The sedan's pedals are covered with a metal plate, and the seats are upholstered in leather with an original pattern. Note that even the BMW 5-Series does not have such equipment.

The most pronounced sporty character of the Genesis G80 is demonstrated in the modification with a 3.5-liter turbo engine. When buying a new optional package, the driver gets a rear-wheel steering system, an additional Sport + mode and equipment that suppresses external noise with this unit. Especially for this version, engineers have finalized the chassis design in order to improve maneuverability and reduce braking distances.

Genesis G80 in this version is equipped with electronics that automatically changes the direction of rotation of the rear wheels at speeds up to 60 km / h. This technology improves maneuverability, prevents slipping and makes it easier to change lanes and park in tight spaces. In addition, gear changes are faster when starting Sport + mode. As a result, the changes made led to the fact that the Genesis G80 now spends only 4.9 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h.
