Hyundai has announced planned adjustments to the list of on-board equipment for the flagship Genesis GV80 crossover. While these changes will affect the model presented on the home market. But due to the fact that the improvements are of a point nature, a similar update can occur in Russia.
It is reported that the Genesis GV80 with a 6-seater saloon will go on sale soon. The Korean crossover in this version will have 2 separate chairs with armrests and, probably, with an electric drive, heating and other similar functions on the second row. There will also be a platform for wireless charging at the back, a separate touchscreen monitor for controlling built-in electronics, cup holders, and compact niches for storing small things. In addition to this, the Genesis GV80 will also add electrically adjustable side steps to the list of options available.
It is announced that the updated flagship crossover will go on sale in the home market before the end of this year. Together with the specified options, the Genesis GV80 buyer will be offered a proprietary system for drying the condensate that forms when the engine is off and the air conditioner is running. In addition, the crossover safety complex will be replenished with the function of automatically braking the car after a collision. The updated Genesis GV80 also acquired an intelligent speed limiter, a modified transmission control selector, trailer tow hooks, ergonomic front seats and improved touch monitors opposite the second row of seats. Hyundai is expected to make minor price adjustments following the changes.
