Hyundai has released photos of the body and interior of the updated Genesis G80 Sport sedan. The Korean model has undergone minor changes that have a noticeable impact on her appearance. At the same time, the technical characteristics of the sedan remained the same.
The design of the grille has not changed. But the manufacturer finished it with dark chrome, which gave the car a more aggressive look. The front bumper has expanded air intakes with a similar mesh, making it look sharper. Black chrome elements are also found on the side of the body. The Genesis G80 Sport features 20-inch wheels with a unique design, behind which are hidden red calipers.
Black chrome can also be found on the rear of the sedan. As part of the modernization, the feed has been replenished with a thin diffuser, which, rather, performs decorative functions. For a surcharge, the manufacturer will paint it in a non-standard red shade. The interior of the Genesis G80 Sport is designed in a familiar style. Inside is a 3-spoke steering wheel with a metal finish. It is also present on the digital instrument panel, covered by a carbon fiber visor. The G80 Sport has exclusive quilted seats. In addition, three trim options are available with the sedan, including those in combination with red stitching.
Hyundai has announced that the new Genesis G80 Sport also features rear-wheel steering. The same 3.5-liter biturbo engine is hidden under the hood of the sedan. Its declared power reaches 379 hp. with a pulling moment of 530 N * m. The new Genesis G80 Sport will hit the market no earlier than the third quarter of 2021.
