Hyundai has published a price list for the first electric car of its premium Genesis brand - the G80e. The car is currently only offered on the domestic market at a price of 82.81 million won (5.39 million rubles). Moreover, this amount has already included subsidies that are issued by the South Korean Ministry of Industry for the purchase of environmentally friendly cars. For comparison, the Genesis G80 with a 3.5-liter turbo engine in the home market costs 18 million won less (4.17 million rubles).
The premium electric sedan is equipped with one 87.2 kWh battery. Such a battery provides a rather massive car with a range of 427 kilometers. The Korean novelty supports different charging technologies, including at 800 V. However, the Genesis G80e will mainly use equipment that supports 400 V. Charging at a power of 350 kW allows you to compensate for the lack of electricity in the battery from 10% to 80% in 22 minutes.
The new Genesis G80e is available in all-wheel drive only. The sedan is equipped with two electric motors, each of which produces up to 184 hp. net power and 350 N * m of torque. A car in this design is capable of gaining the first 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds. The Korean novelty implements a technology that allows you to connect external devices to the built-in battery. Also, the sedan is equipped with solar panels located on the roof.
The rest of the Genesis G80e is not much different from its prototype. The novelty is also equipped with two-piece front and rear optics, a digital instrument panel and a wide touchscreen monitor. In the interior trim of the sedan, leather was actively used, which on some details is combined with metal inserts.
