Exclusive crossback from France DS 3 Crossback, which belongs to the B-SUV Premium segment, debuted on the market about three years ago. The main task of the model, as suggested by the automaker, was to compete with the MINI Countryman.

For this, the developer (owned by Citroen) equipped the model with environmentally friendly and technically advanced power plants. However, over the entire period of its existence on the market, the compact car has not been able to cope with the responsibilities assigned to it. The fault, according to experts, was the high price, not the most demanded design, as well as the premium status of the model. As a result, the manufacturer was faced with the need to adjust the strategy for his brainchild. The management of the French manufacturer decided to try to keep the model on the market, and for this they planned to carry out a serious facelift.

First of all, the changes will affect the design of the head optics. The developers will ditch the twisty elements and install new, more modern headlights, similar to the DS 4 model (photo: motor.es). In addition, the front bumper will undergo adjustments. It will also be made less convoluted and more stylish. The next element to be tweaked is the taillights, for which a different design will be offered. The shape of the aft door will also be revised somewhat.
The interior of the car is supposed to use new materials that will significantly change the internal atmosphere. In addition, the multimedia system will be updated and a number of assistants will be added to improve passenger safety. Despite the fact that we are talking about a facelift of the car, it is expected to adjust its power characteristics. The show of new items is scheduled for autumn 2022, and the start of sales will begin in 2023.
