Concern Stellantis has already announced its plans for the electrification of the lineup of its brands. Now it became known that the luxury sub-brand of Citroen - DS, is working on two new electric crossovers. One of them will become a coupe-like one, and the second - a seven-seater family one.

Aero Sport Lounge Concept

The reason for the creation of this kind of product lies in the same stricter emission standards introduced by the European Union, which are increasingly forcing manufacturers to abandon the development of new cars running on traditional internal combustion engines. In addition, crossovers have now become such a popular body type that many companies have stopped bringing sedans to the market, focusing entirely on SUVs and SUVs.

Given this development scenario, it is quite obvious that the parent group wants to launch the production of electric cars with a zero emission factor as soon as possible. DS, in turn, declares that these new items will be released in 2024. There is no information about the cars themselves. Only there is evidence that they may be called P85 and P95, respectively. But what name refers to what type of body is also still unknown.

It is only assumed that the P95 will be a seven-seater crossover, which, due to its layout, will be designed for large families. It is possible that both cars will be based on the recently revealed Aero Sport Lounge concept, which has a fast-paced rough design with chopped edges.
