Citroen's premium subsidiary DS has teamed up with Ines de la Fressange Paris to launch a special edition of the DS 3 Crossback.
Classic DS 3 Crossback
The limited edition of 1,500 pieces will be called the DS 3 Crossback Ines de la Fressange Paris. This model will be able to boast an exclusive look, both inside and outside. The special edition DS 3 Crossback is finished in Ink Blue, which will only be found in this version, with a Perla Nera Black roof. The Ines Red paint finish on the side mirror housings and center hole caps on the 18 '' diamond alloy wheels are also exclusive to this model.
Inspired by the leather weaving technique, weavers from the Ariege region (in the south of France) have created a unique seating material that combines different types of fabrics. Co-developed by DS and Ines de la Fressange Paris, this material has a soft blue that matches Alcantara and red stitching on the seats. In addition to special upholstery, the limited edition will come with a leather multifunction steering wheel, aluminum pedal pads, a 10.3-inch touchscreen display and climate control. It also features LED optics, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist and emergency braking at speeds up to 140 km / h.
Customers can order the DS 3 Crossback Ines de la Fressange Paris either with a 130 hp BlueHDi diesel engine. with an automatic transmission, or with 155 hp PureTech petrol units. and Puretech at 130 hp. which also have no alternative in combination with automatic transmission only. It is possible to purchase a car with an E-Tense electric motor.
Production of the crossover will begin in the coming weeks, with deliveries starting in January 2021. As a reminder, the DS 3 Crossback was released in 2019 and began to compete with the Audi Q2 and Mini Countryman. Annual sales of the car are very low, but, perhaps thanks to a special limited edition, these cars can be brought to a new level of sales.
