At the stand of the company, two versions of the electric hatchback were presented at once. One is standard and the other is with a retractable roof. Apparently, this is how the company's representatives decided to demonstrate the uniqueness of their cars, as well as the possibility of their personalization. The AION Y convertible aroused considerable interest from specialists and motorists. It received quite massive bumpers, a body kit around the perimeter, as well as graphics on the rear and fenders. In addition, the manufacturer has included a special retractable table in the package, which is quite convenient during picnic trips.

As for the classic hatchback, it also turned out to be very original. So, on the body of the electric car there are accents of pink color, and the forms of the car themselves turned out to be geometric. Also noteworthy is the fact that the two presented models, despite their common base, received different wheel diameters.

As previously reported, the AION Y was the first in the GAC lineup to receive in-house developed batteries. Previously, CATL batteries were installed on all electric cars of the brand. At the moment, the basic version of the presented hatchback has a battery with a capacity of 60 kW * h. Its main task is to power the 136 horsepower motor. This technical configuration allows AION Y owners to cover a distance of 410 kilometers without additional recharging.
