A few weeks ago, it became known that Volkswagen is experiencing difficulties in promoting the new ID.4 electric crossover in the Chinese market. More precisely, the sales of the German model here do not correspond to the manufacturer's plans at all. Despite this, Volkswagen is confident that the situation will soon improve, in part thanks to the development of its dealer network. New GAC Aion V

The Chinese company has unveiled the updated Aion V electric crossover, which will become a direct competitor to the Volkswagen ID.4. Both cars are similar not only in size, but also in some design solutions implemented on the body. The Chinese novelty is equipped with two-tiered head optics, presented in the form of thin LED strips with clear edges. Aion V received a relatively compact front bumper with a narrow center air intake. The feed of the novelty has a stepped shape and is complemented by a developed spoiler, which visually unites the narrowed rear optics.

According to official information, the GAC has equipped the Aion V with six front and rear radars. Together with the electric crossover, you can purchase a two-tone body and wheels painted in different shades. In addition, the Chinese novelty has received panoramic cameras.

The current version of the model

At the moment, the GAC Aion V is still equipped with only one electric motor. But its maximum output after the modernization increased to 272 hp, which is 68 hp. more than Volkswagen ID.4. It is reported that the GAC has equipped the Aion V with a capacious battery, which has increased the range. But the range of the electric crossover has not yet been declassified.
