The Chinese media reports that the GAC company begins selling the Trumpchi M8 in the Master Edition Wellness performance. This modification of the minivan will be available in two variations (photo: autohome.com.cn). The cost of the car is declared in the range of 279,800-299,800 yuan or 3, 165-3, 392 million rubles in Russian currency.
The new version of the GAC Trumpchi M8 offers a slightly different design performance, as well as a more comfortable interior. In general, the exterior of the car largely repeats the style of similar models, but there are some nuances. In particular, this concerns the design of the front bumper, which houses a massive radiator grille with vertical slats that visually resemble a waterfall. There is also a lot of chrome here, emphasizing the exclusivity of the performance. Oversized optics with a slightly slanted look complete the chosen style. On the other hand, niches for ventilation openings were made quite compact.
As for the interior decoration of the GAC Trumpchi M8, there are no special differences from the current version. The interior almost completely copies the previous format. The second row of seats is made of an independent structure - two captain's chairs. True, there is one rather useful option here. The seat can be brought out through a special mechanism for a more comfortable fit for those who are limited in movement.
There are no changes in the technical characteristics of the GAC Trumpchi M8. A turbocharged engine with a working volume of 2.0 liters is installed under the hood of the minivan. The power of the unit corresponds to 252 horsepower, and the torque is 390 N * m. An eight-speed automatic transmission works in tandem with this engine.
Recall that in Russia the M8 is sold under the name GN8, and the van competes with the more expensive Toyota Alphard. Therefore, it is possible that the new version will reach the domestic market.
