Earlier, the GAC company has repeatedly said that it plans to present a car with the latest technology in the near future. And now, as it became known, the concern has prepared a new model that runs on hydrogen fuel. It is reported that the novelty is capable of covering more than 650 kilometers. The model will enter the market under the name GAC AION LX. That is, the model not only externally, but also in name resembles the model of the Lexus brand. The car is based on the GEP 2.0 platform, and a large percentage of aluminum alloy is used in the body structure, which indicates strength and reliability. In addition, the developers managed to significantly reduce the weight of the vehicle. The model boasts a new design compared to the current version.

The first thing that I would like to note is the unusual grille. The shape of the module resembles an arch, and the filling creates a three-dimensional pattern, visually expanding the front bumper. The company logo is fixed above the grill. As for the dimensions of the car, they are still unknown. However, experts are sure that there are no changes here. The handles on the doors are made in a hidden format, emphasizing the manufacturability and uniqueness of the car. The rims also boast a stylish pattern and Michelin PRIMACY 4 Series tires.

On the left side of the body there is a fuel tank, where there are two 70 MPa hydrogen tanks, which can hold up to 5.2 kg of fuel mass. As mentioned above, the GAC AION LX is able to cover more than 650 kilometers. By the way, the rear of the car completely copies the design of the current version.

The interior decoration for the GAC AION LX also did not change, since all materials and equipment fully meet modern requirements. The salon is stylish and functional. The color scheme is dominated by black and gray shades. Behind the two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, there are two monitors, covered by a common glass. The first screen is for the digital instrument cluster and the second is for multimedia. Below is a neat air conditioning unit and several physical keys.

The power plant consists of several batteries and fuel cells, providing a power of 150 kW with a torque of 350 N * m. The latter are fixed in the front of the car, and the battery and DC inverter are fixed under the chassis. The hydrogen tank is located at the back.
