The British office of the American manufacturer Ford has published the official debut sketches of the future Future Generation concept, which the company is considering as a model that will enter the market in 2030.
An interesting fact is that the sketch itself was created by the manufacturer based on the results of a survey conducted by experts among children aged 8-9 years (photo: media.ford.com). It is expected that this particular generation will be the first to which exclusively electric cars will be available. The results of the survey themselves showed that over half of young people want to drive an electric car, while 17 and 10%, respectively, were in favor of the petrol and diesel variants of the car.
The main function that children would like to get in a future car is the ability to fly. In addition, they noted the mandatory seat comfort, the quality of the audio system and the presence of an autopilot. As for the sketch of the car of the future from Ford, it is made in a red and black shade, which was put in the first place by future motorists.
Also, Ford representatives additionally interviewed an adult audience that does not consider it necessary to completely abandon the operation of cars with internal combustion engines. Car enthusiasts noted that when driving an electric car, they lack a number of sensations that are typical for cars with standard motors. These include the sound emitted by the power unit, the need to change gears, and fueling stations. In addition, many adult car enthusiasts are more wary of electric cars and assume that it will not be easy for them to cope with its management and operation.
