Over the next few weeks, the American manufacturer Ford plans to hold an official show of the updated "hot" version of the Fiesta hatchback. Despite the fact that representatives of the company in every possible way hid data about the future new product, the first details still leaked to the Network even before the presentation of the car.
As it turned out, one of the company's dealers posted a photo of the brochure of the updated Fiesta ST on the Web. Judging by the images that were in the public domain thanks to a corporate leak, there are no fundamental differences between the current and future hatchback versions. All changes both in the exterior and in the interior of the car will be point-to-point.
So, the "charged" cross-hatch received a slightly modified head optics, as well as other bumpers. In addition, the new version is equipped with a slightly larger grille, and the taillights have been slightly redesigned. As for the interior, it is expected to install sports seats with better lateral support and a digital instrument panel. The list of equipment of the new Ford Fiesta ST will provide as additional options: the ability to access the cabin without a key, adaptive light, tracking the situation in the "blind" zones, emergency braking assistant and an assistant keeping the hatchback in the lane.
According to experts, there is no need to expect adjustments in the power parameters of the car. This means that the updated version will be equipped with the same 1.5-liter turbo engine as the current model. The output of this unit is 200 "horses", and the limiting moment reaches 290 N * m. A 6-speed manual transmission acts as a pair for him.
