A user on the Bronco 6G forum was browsing Ford's ordering system and found confirmation of earlier information that the Bronco Raptor will be a 2022 model. The list shows two trim options: one basic and one that comes with Lux equipment.

The person who posted this information indicates that the Raptor appears on the system only as a four-door vehicle. This is consistent with spy shots and development videos, which never mentioned that the Ford Bronco would receive a two-door version. The list in the system confirms the new color options: Eruption Green and Hot Pepper Red and the previously unknown Code Orange. It could be an exclusive Bronco Raptor shade because the paint is already available for the F-150 Raptor. Unfortunately, there is no powertrain details on this list. Under the hood, rumor has it that either the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 from the Explorer ST with 400 horsepower or the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 from the F-150 Raptor with 450 horsepower can fit under the hood.

The spy shots show a Bronco Raptor with huge fenders and high suspension (photo: motor1.com). Shorter bumpers improve entry and exit angles. Protective plates hide vital mechanical components. If the Bronco Raptor does appear in the 2022 lineup, then sales should start in the first half of next year, and perhaps even earlier. However, Ford has such a massive Bronco regular ordering portfolio that increased demand could create problems for production.

Oddly enough, rumors about the Bronco Warthog model may also be true. According to the same information, there are vinyl seats in the list of options, which are indicated in parentheses, like Warthog. The ordering system also lists the new Everglades model, but no details about it. Ford registered a trademark in this name in 2020.
