Geely launched the updated Atlas Pro crossover in the home market a few months ago. But this model reached our country only recently. The new Atlas Pro went on sale only in mid-September. The crossover is offered exclusively with a "mild" hybrid and in three versions.
However, according to the latest information, Geely will soon start selling the recently debuted Atlas X in Russia instead of Atlas Pro. Recall that the second model differs from the first largely redesigned front end of the body, designed in an X-shaped style. This design is typical for Russian Lada and Mitsubishi Outlander.
So far, Geely has not officially confirmed this information. But if Atlas X nevertheless gets to the Russian market, it will cost almost the same as Atlas Pro. On the home market, a Chinese model is asked for an amount equivalent to 1.3 million rubles.
In addition to the front end of the body, the Atlas X differs from its prototype with a deeply redesigned interior. The novelty has a larger touchscreen monitor built into the center console. By default, the car is equipped with a digital instrument panel, multifunction steering wheel with leather trim and dual-zone climate. The interior as a whole, after the changes made, has become generally more ergonomic, and the finishing materials are more pleasant to the touch.
At the same time, technically, the Chinese novelty does not differ from its prototype. Under the hood of the Atlas X lies the same 1.8-liter supercharged engine with a maximum output of 184 hp. and a torque of 300 N * m, which is combined with a two-disk "robot" at 7 speeds.
