The Chinese automaker Geely announced the start of accepting pre-orders for the purchase of the new Atlas X crossover. This model was shown quite recently and has a very original appearance, close to modern Lada and Mitsubishi models. In parallel with this event, analysts noted the fact that the company's website no longer contains information about the Atlas Pro SUV, which, by the way, recently entered the Russian market. Apparently, the new X-shaped SUV is intended to replace the previous generation model.
The Geely Atlas X crossover has received increased attention from experts and motorists since its debut. In its basis, the developer laid the latest design approach, which was named Starburst. As for the interior, there are practically no changes in comparison with the Atlas Pro model, with the exception of the possibility of choosing finishes in other color tones.
It is curious that in terms of its dimensions, the new Atlas X absolutely duplicates the dimensions of the Atlas Pro model. So, the crossover body received such parameters - 4544x1831x1713 mm. And its distance between the axes is 2670 mm. Also, the declared prices for the car do not differ. The basic modification is estimated at 1.3 million, and the most expensive version is estimated at 1.65 million rubles in equivalent.
If we compare the new Atlas X with the previous Pro-version, then they differ from each other due to the motor range. If the power plants of the Geely Atlas Pro crossover included a hybrid engine, as well as a turbocharged unit of 1.5 liters, then only an 1.8-liter internal combustion engine was left for Atlas X, the output of which is 184 hp. A pair for him is a robotic gearbox at 7 speeds. The cross is also equipped with a front-wheel drive system.
