The management of the Chinese auto brand Geely reported that the day before the company sent a debut batch of hundreds of Geometry C electric vehicles, which will be sold in the automotive markets of Belarus and Israel. Note that given the local proximity of Belarus to Russia, it is possible that the novelty may soon reach the domestic market.
As you know, the Geometry brand was created by the Chinese corporation Geely about two years ago. It is designed specifically for the production and sale of electric vehicles. At the moment, the Geometry line is represented by two related models - C and A. Moreover, the automaker decided not to limit itself to the home car market, but started exporting its cars. The choice of the developer fell on Israel and Belarus. It is reported that both of these countries are quite interesting for the management of the company, since they have already managed to collect over two thousand pre-orders for the purchase of Geometry C.
If we talk about the Belarusian market, then, as you know, Geely's interests are represented by the BelGi production enterprise. A fairly wide range of cars is produced at the facilities of this plant. And since 2019, several Geometry A electric cars have been imported into the country in order to study the possible consumer demand, as well as options for organizing their production on the territory of BelGee.
Now the second representative of the sub-brand will appear on the market - Geometry C. This hatch, which belongs to the golf class models, is 4432 mm long. The car is offered in front-wheel drive design, and the power output of its electric motor is equal to 204 hp. But the available batteries can be selected. The basic versions offer a 53 kWh battery, while the more expensive versions offer a 70 kWh battery. According to the developer, a car on a single charge covers a distance of 400-550 km, and acceleration to 100 km / h is achieved in 6, 9-7 seconds.
