Geely, like many Chinese manufacturers, has been very active over the past month. She recently published a plan for her own development for the next few years. According to the statements made, Geely plans to release its models on several modular platforms, designed for both hybrid and generating sets. At the same time, the manufacturer is going to actively develop a range of electric cars of the Geometry and Zeekr brands. Under the first, relatively inexpensive electric cars are produced, while the second is intended for premium cars.

Also, Geely is going to gradually abandon the assembly of cheap models. True, this decision will be implemented gradually. This is evidenced by the recent news, according to which Geely is preparing for the imminent presentation of a new version of the Atlas Pro crossover with the X prefix in the name. Photos of this model have already appeared on the web, and the official debut is scheduled for August 29th.
Visually, the Atlas Pro X differs from its standard version with a deeply redesigned front end. Here X-shaped strips appeared, due to which the size of the radiator grill was significantly increased. Also, the front bumper has been replenished with large air vents with smooth edges. The Atlas Pro X interior has yet to be revealed. But it is known that the car will retain the previous 184-horsepower turbo engine with a volume of 1.8 liters.
Standard Geely Atlas Pro
The current version of Atlas Pro has recently ceased to be supplied to the Russian market. The voiced reason is that the Belarusian car plant does not have time to establish the assembly process. But later this problem was solved. Until recently, Geely supplied Atlas Pro to Russia in only two top-end configurations at a price of 2, 12 million rubles. Such a high cost is largely due to the fact that the Chinese model is equipped with only a hybrid installation by default. But recently the prices for Atlas Pro in Russia fell by 100 thousand rubles due to the appearance of a new basic configuration.
The crossover in this version is equipped with a driver's seat servo, LED lighting, six airbags, an electronic parking brake, cameras with a 360-degree view and other options. The car is powered by a 177-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine, which is combined with a 48-volt starter-generator.
