Great Wall introduced the new Ora Good Cat electric car a few months ago. The main distinguishing feature of this model is that it is designed in an accentuated retro style. Now Great Wall has apparently decided to start exporting its electric car to other countries. The fact is that the company brought this car to the Munich Motor Show, renaming it Cat.
Great Wall has not yet revealed the technical features of this model. But, most likely, the same Ora Cat, which is sold on the home market, will arrive in Europe. This means that the presented novelty is driven by a 143-horsepower electric motor, which develops up to 210 N * m of maximum torque. All generated traction is transmitted only to the front wheels. A battery is supplied with the electric car, which provides a power reserve of 400 kilometers. As a standard, the Chinese novelty is equipped with 360-degree cameras and other driver's assistants. Inside, the new items are equipped with 2 screens and leather-trimmed seats.
Great Wall representatives emphasized that such an original body shape was chosen not only to set the new Ora Cat apart from its counterparts (photo: motor1.com). This configuration improves the vehicle's aerodynamics, which has a positive effect on the range.
It is reported that Great Wall will begin shipping the new Ora Cat to the European market before the end of this year. All machines will be exported from China. Great Wall is not going to look for a site in Europe for assembling its own cars. The exact characteristics, as well as prices, new items will be announced closer to the date of the start of sales.
