For the second time in a year, Great Wall uses home car dealerships in order to present the next original version of the Cannon pickup (Pao in Russia). Now the manufacturer has brought this model in a new version of Everest, the prices for which are already known. The Chinese model in this version costs at least 181.8 thousand yuan (about two million rubles). Probably, deliveries of commercial samples of a pickup truck to the home market will begin in September.
Interestingly, visually, the novelty is not much different from other standard Cannon modifications. The Chinese Everest pickup features an exhaust pipe that runs along the A-pillar on the driver's side. Its placement in this area indirectly indicates that the car was prepared to overcome more difficult off-road conditions. But so far, Great Wall representatives have not made any statements on this matter.
For Cannon performed by Everest, the manufacturer has prepared a new, more saturated color, which is distinguished by a matte sheen. The radiator grille, keeping the same dimensions, has acquired a different plastic edging, which makes the car "more powerful". Both bumpers have undergone minor changes. In addition, Everest's Cannon acquired off-road tires.
The dimensions of the Chinese novelty also remained the same. Its length is 5465 mm with a wheelbase of 3350 mm. The width of the pickup reaches 1992 mm, height - 1960 mm. The car is driven by a 2-liter supercharged engine familiar from other Great Wall models. Its declared power is all the same 221 hp. This unit is combined with all-wheel drive, which is complemented by two differentials.
