Great Wall has announced the start of production of the new Ranger Tank 300. It is reported that the Chinese model in this version is designed to overcome more difficult off-road conditions. Prices for the Tank 300 Ranger on the home market start at 248.8 thousand yuan (2.83 million rubles).
Visually, the Chinese novelty is practically no different from the previously debuted versions. In fact, the difference between these modifications is that the Tank 300 Ranger stands out for its original color scheme. But upon closer examination, it becomes clear that the Chinese novelty has received a more massive front bumper, in the center of which there is a niche for attaching an electric winch. On the side of the SUV, extended wheel arches with a powerful body kit appeared. The Tank 300 Ranger also received off-road tires. On the tailgate, like the standard version, the new item has a full-size spare wheel.
In addition to the changes in appearance, the manufacturer has upgraded the design of the car. So, in the cabin there are larger pedals with a complex pattern that prevents the feet from slipping. The SUV received a new shock absorber that improves the performance of the car in difficult conditions. In particular, it features adjustable damping, which is adjusted depending on the selected gear.
At the same time, the familiar 2-liter supercharged engine is installed under the hood of the Tank 300 Ranger. The maximum output of such a motor is increased to 227 hp, the torque is up to 387 N * m. By default, the Chinese model is equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The new SUV is likely to go on sale in the coming weeks.
