Chinese carmaker Great Wall is preparing to introduce a new off-road version of the POER pickup truck to the market. The day before, pictures of the car, as well as a number of its technical parameters, were posted on the website of the local Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Most surprising is the design of the Chinese pickup, which is very close to the Tank 600 off-roader. The front end of the GW POER stands out thanks to the huge grille decorated with chrome. You can also note a very large manufacturer's logo, which is comparable in diameter to the area for installing a license plate. The head optics of the pickup completely coincide with the one installed on the same Tank 600. Of course, given the off-road orientation of the model, the presence of a plastic body kit and a snorkel, as well as the ability to install a winch on the car, is not surprising.
The dimensions of the GW POER body are 5465x1992x1960 mm, and the distance between the axles reaches 3350 mm. These parameters allow the pickup to be produced in a four-door design. At the same time, the large size of the car did not lead to serious indicators of carrying capacity, which is only 300 kg. The Chinese novelty will be equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine, the output of which is 224 horsepower. At the same time, experts believe that the manufacturer can offer an alternative installation of a 3-liter 6-cylinder engine.
The interior of the new pickup will house a compact steering wheel, a digital instrument panel and a multimedia system with a touchscreen display. The transmission control selector is similar to that on the Tank 600. Judging by the nameplates installed on the body of this model, it is possible that this version will turn out to be the next generation of the pickup, also sold in Russia.
