During 2021, Great Wall presented several different modifications of its two models: the Cannon pickup truck and the Tank 300 premium SUV. So, at the April Shanghai Motor Show, the manufacturer showed more than 5 versions of the first car. Several original Tank 300 concepts were also on display there.
Tank 300 standard version
As it turned out, Great Wall is not going to be limited only to these modifications. Now images of the updated Tank 300 have appeared on the web, the body of which has undergone quite serious changes. At the same time, the Chinese SUV retained its recognizable appearance.
New variation of the model
As part of the modernization, Great Wall engineers made many point changes. The Chinese SUV is now painted in a previously unavailable shade of silver. Narrow beacons have appeared on the roof, and the hood has been replenished with a protrusion with a compact cutout for additional airflow in the engine compartment.
The SUV retains its round front optics, but its grille has undergone more cosmetic changes. The Tank 300 also received a completely new front bumper with a plastic insert, which is cut in the center by a fine mesh and a metal body kit. At the stern, the developers have fixed a full-fledged spoiler. And the rear bumper has been replenished with diffusers also with a fine mesh.
It is reported that the technical specifications of the Chinese model have remained the same. Under the hood of the new Tank 300 is a 2-liter supercharged engine that develops up to 227 hp. net power and 387 N * m tractive torque. Such a motor is combined with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Due to the changes made, the Chinese SUV has become larger. Its length is now 4679 mm, width - 1967 mm, height - 1958 mm.
