The Great Wall company showed at the Shanghai Auto Show that its pickups are distinguished by increased functionality. In particular, the Cannon model has been presented in more than five different versions. There were even versions equipped with berths and a field kitchen. However, none of these modifications have yet entered the market. Instead, Great Wall has launched sales of the new Cannon with a compact housing unit.
The latter is presented in the form of a kind of container, which is installed in place of the cargo platform. It is noteworthy, but despite the appearance of a fairly large residential module, the Chinese model retained its 4-door design. This container is complemented by special designs. They make the living unit more stable when parked.
This compartment provides a full-fledged berth, a stove, a sink, a refrigerator, containers for water and more. The developers also placed a fuel tank there. In addition, a tent is hidden on top. For such a Great Wall Cannon, dealers in the home market are asking for at least 260 thousand yuan (2.95 million rubles).
Note that apart from the appearance of a new residential module, the Chinese model has not changed. It still comes with leather-trimmed seats, a touchscreen, a color information display on the dashboard, a multifunction steering wheel, climate control and other equipment. Externally, the new Cannon is no different from other versions of this model. So, the pickup is equipped with large optics with square LEDs, a massive radiator grill with wide metal blades and a large front bumper. At the rear, the manufacturer has placed a full-size spare wheel.
