The updated "Cannon" Great Wall was first caught on the road: the Cannon pickup truck is expected to change

On Chinese public roads, a new Great Wall Cannon was seen being loaded onto a tow truck. In addition, we managed to capture the pickup not only in front, but also in the back. Having carefully examined the car, it becomes clear that it will receive minor changes.

New Great Wall Cannon

The headlights are thinner than the current generation currently sold by the brand's dealers. It's hard to know if the taillights are glued or just not there. But even if they were removed, then by the footprints for them you can understand that they will not differ from the actual ones. Only if their design changes, which is not uncommon among automakers, when the shape of the headlights remains the same, but their pattern changes slightly.

The car has not yet been officially announced, so you can be content with only these pictures of the car in camouflage. There is also information that the captured pickup is actually not a restyling of the current generation at all, but just a new configuration, which may be called the X Cannon. In general, little has changed on the exterior of the model. The American school of design is well traced here, as the pickup looks a lot like the Ford Raptor and Chevrolet Silverado along with their GMC-badged twins. Judging by the fact that the car's door handles are not visible, they are either tightly covered with camouflage, or they will go out of the door, as is implemented in Tesla and Range Rover. The radiator grill remains the same.

Actual model

There is no information about the power plants. We can only assume that the pickup will receive all the same engines that are already being installed on the current generation of the global model. The Cannon can be powered by a 160hp 2.0-liter diesel engine. and a similar petrol turbo engine with 187 hp. Transmission to choose from either the traditional "mechanics" for 6 gears, or "automatic" in 8 steps.
