Honda began testing the first test sample of the new, sixth generation CR-V crossover in the summer. It is expected that the official debut of the car will take place no earlier than the second half of 2022. Despite this, some details of the appearance of the Japanese novelty are already known. This became possible thanks to the publication of the rendered image.
Actual model
The upcoming Honda CR-V is rumored to undergo radical changes (photo: motor.es). This is reflected in the presented render, which shows a car that resembles its predecessor in only a few details. So, the crossover has retained the familiar optics with a characteristic "stroke" of LED DRLs laid on top. But the headlights have become narrower, their shape and graphics have changed. The radiator grille has retained its large dimensions and acquired large "honeycombs". And the front bumper has a relatively simple design. A narrow air intake extends along the bottom, flanked by thin strips of LED fog lights.

In general, the presented Honda CR-V stands out for its sporty appearance. Stylistically, the crossover began to resemble the Civic sedan that debuted a few months ago. The upcoming Honda CR-V will lose its vertically oriented taillights. This is evidenced by photographs of a test prototype, in which the stern optics are located horizontally. Moreover, this design decision is also radical, since in all the previous five generations, the rear optics were placed vertically.

The interior of the Honda CR-V is also expected to undergo major changes. According to rumors, the interior design will be in the style of the latest HR-V. In addition, according to preliminary information, the new Honda CR-V will be equipped exclusively with hybrid units.
