Recently, many sources have been claiming that the production version of the Honda SUV e: Prototype concept will be officially unveiled at the Wuhan Auto Festival. It starts on October 21st. Most likely, the new model will be named 3BS, and the Dongfeng Honda plant will be engaged in its production.
Honda SUV e: Prototype Concept
The Honda SUV e: Prototype was first shown to the public at last year's Shanghai Auto Show and generated a lot of interest from motorists. The all-electric crossover had a recognizable brand identity. Many have noticed that its design was based on the HR-V model. Nevertheless, the prototype had many completely new details, such as the straight-through design of the front and rear group of headlights, as well as the grille without holes. Most likely, these changes will remain on production models.

Recall that the Honda HR-V was launched on sale quite recently - in May this year, which means that it is not surprising that the automaker decided to continue developing its new design language. This may indicate that after the official launch of 3BS sales, we can expect the debut of the fresh XR-V in the very near future. This cross will in turn use some body parts from its all-electric sibling.

More details on the upcoming Honda models can be expected as early as October 13th. On this date, the automaker has scheduled a large press conference to highlight the inevitable transition of the Chinese car market to electric models. On the same day, we will learn a lot of new information about the upcoming 3BS.
