Japanese auto brand Honda has prepared a special series of vehicles that will be produced under the off-road name TrailSport. According to the information announced by the representatives of the company, at the initial stage, such models will receive a different decoration. However, in the future, they expect more serious improvements when compared with classic Honda cars. In the first phase, TrailSport models will be available exclusively in the North American market.

According to the data provided by the press service of the Japanese manufacturer, the first versions of TrailSport should reach dealers this year. These cars will receive a brutal look, involving the installation of a powerful body kit, as well as orange interior trim and floor mats that are suitable for any weather.

Subsequently, Honda announces the appearance on the market of truly redesigned models that will differ from the classic cars of the company due to the reconfigured suspension, higher ground clearance, large rims and serious underbody protection.
Which models from the current range will receive off-road performance has not yet been reported. At the same time, in the video, which was published as confirmation of the intentions of the automaker, you can definitely see the Passport SUV. It seems that this particular model will be the debut representative of the TrailSport range. Moreover, it is not only the plastic body kit that can distinguish it from the standard version.
Earlier, on the roads of the United States, it was already possible to notice a restyled version of the car, which will receive a different radiator grille and other foglights. From a technical point of view, the model is unlikely to differ from the current generation of the Honda Passport.
