Honda is currently testing a prototype for the updated Accord. Apparently, the Japanese sedan is going through another evolutionary stage, as the published photos show that the car will undergo a minimum of changes.

In fact, the new Accord has a little "freshened up" externally and internally. The published photos indicate that Honda engineers have made minimal changes to the body design. So, the Japanese model is still equipped with a slightly tapered head optics, in which LED direction indicators, main headlights and DRL are included in one block. They, as before, are interconnected by a plastic overlay that hangs over the trapezoidal grille.
The Accord's front bumper retains its distinctive splitter-like protrusion. On the sides, engineers built compact niches for fog lights. But their shape has changed a bit. In addition, the engineers slightly refined the graphics of the headlights and installed a new trim over the grille.
Also, recent photos show that the Accord will come in a hybrid version after the upgrade. This is evidenced by the corresponding inscription on the stern. A new multimedia screen, designed in the form of a tablet, which is installed on top of the center console, will appear in the cabin of the Japanese sedan.
Specifications from the Honda Accord will remain the same. By default, the sedan is equipped with a 1.5-liter supercharged engine producing up to 194 hp. useful power and 260 N * m of thrust. Optionally, the car is equipped with a hybrid unit, which is based on a 2-liter 146-horsepower unit. It consumes on average 4, 2 liters of fuel.
