Honda recently unveiled a new Ridgeline pickup truck. During the presentation, the manufacturer said that the design implemented on this car will gradually spread to the entire model range. In particular, this approach to body design will be applied to the Passport crossover.
Actual cross
Recently the company Honda brought a pre-production prototype of the updated version of the Japanese model on public roads. Even though the car was partially covered with protective camouflage, independent designers, focusing on the Ridgeline pickup, recreated the exterior of the future Passport (photo: motor1.com). The changes made to this model turned the crossover into a kind of SUV.

The similarity with it is emphasized by the massive front part of the body with a voluminous hood and an enlarged radiator grille, complemented by a coarse mesh. Next to it are quite large headlights with C-shaped LED strips that combine direction indicators and DRLs. The front bumper was also larger, with enlarged side air intakes, from the bottom of which the fog lights were extended. The body kit from the presented Passport looks like it was removed from the Ridgeline pickup.
Renders of the new version of the Honda Passport
Honda has not yet announced any information about the future crossover. But recently released photos of a pre-production prototype indicate that the manufacturer is in the final stages of development. In this regard, we can expect the debut of the new Passport before the end of this year.

Let us remind you that this model is not officially supplied to the Russian market. Moreover, Honda has previously announced that it plans to leave our country in connection with the changed development strategy. The Japanese manufacturer intends to completely abandon cars with internal combustion engines in the coming years.
