Representatives of the Russian office of Hyundai spoke about the timing of the start of sales of their electric models in our country. These plans of the Korean automaker became known at the beginning of this year. Then there was information that the debut electric car of the brand would be the Ioniq 5 model. However, its launch date was not named.
Now the head of the Hyundai representative office in the Russian market said that in the middle of next year Ioniq 5 will reach car dealerships and become available for purchase. The model itself is already on sale in South Korea, as well as in the European car market. The price of an SUV, depending on the region, is equivalent to 3, 3-3, 6 million rubles.
The presented vehicle configurations are equipped with a rear or all-wheel drive system. As for the power capabilities, a 170-horsepower unit or an electric motor for 218 "horses" is offered for the first version of the crossover. The second version is represented by electric motors installed on each axle of the car, which allows them to generate power of 235 or 306 horsepower. Depending on the configuration type, the SUV can be equipped with a 58 or 72.6 kW / h battery. The maximum distance that the Ioniq 5 can cover without recharging is 480 kilometers.
One of the main features of the South Korean model is its ability to maintain a bi-directional flow of electricity. This term means that the Ioniq 5, if necessary, is able to provide electricity for the successful functioning of household appliances.
