For the first time, Hyundai has published photos that reveal the exterior of the new Casper crossover, which will be the cheapest SUV of the Korean brand. The car will hit the home market in mid-September. But now Hyundai has already started accepting pre-orders for the model.

As expected, the crossover received a very narrow head optics, between which lies a decorative insert with a compact corporate badge. Under it, the developers have placed a large grille with an extremely fine mesh. On its sides there are round blocks with additional LED optics. In one (probably in the top-end) version, next to these lamps there are inserts with a metal edging, the purpose of which has not yet been announced.

In front of the Korean novelty, a wide metal plastic is fixed, which is responsible for protecting the body. In profile, Casper has a square shape. There is a plastic body kit along its wheel arches and the bottom of the side doors. On the almost vertical stern, there is a wide bumper with round lights on the sides. It is stated that the length of the new Hyundai Casper is 3595 mm, width - 1595 mm, height - 1575 mm. Under South Korean and Indian laws, cars of this size can count on certain benefits. The novelty received 2 engines, the volume of each of which is 1 liter. The technical characteristics of both units have not yet been disclosed. It is known that Casper is equipped with frontal impact and lane departure warning systems.

Hyundai has yet to publish prices for the crossover. According to rumors, in the home market a car will cost about 700 thousand rubles (in terms of the current exchange rate, in India, where Capser will also be supplied - less than 500 thousand rubles.
