Today many manufacturers are looking for replacements for internal combustion engines. Some companies have already started developing fuel cell vehicles. In particular, BMW will present the new hydrogen-powered X5 in 2 weeks. And some manufacturers already sell similar models. Toyota has been supplying the hydrogen-powered Mirai for several years, and Hyundai has been supplying the Nexo.

But it is the Korean company that will soon become the first manufacturer to have 2 fuel cell vehicles in its lineup. Hyundai has released a teaser that reveals the new hydrogen-powered car. This model is designed in a sporty style. As expected, the manufacturer will declassify more information about it on September 7 at a specialized forum dedicated to the development of hydrogen fuel. However, Hyundai has not yet confirmed that this model will become serial. It is possible that the Korean manufacturer with the help of this novelty will only present its technological developments, and the car will remain in the rank of a concept.

The Korean model shown in the published teaser has a fastback-style body that gives it a sporty look. The side windows of the novelty are bent upwards. A similar design solution was previously implemented on the Veloster. The Korean model is rumored to have rear-wheel drive. But there is a possibility that Hyundai has prepared an all-wheel drive fastback that supports drift mode.

Despite the fact that more and more companies are launching mass production of hydrogen cars, the demand for them remains extremely low. This is largely due to the lack of the necessary infrastructure. Accordingly, even if Hyundai launches its new product into mass production, it will not be popular.
