Great Wall's activity throughout 2021 is astounding. The Chinese manufacturer has unveiled several new series of cars, including the Ora electric cars. Great Wall has also unveiled a number of WEY crossovers, including the original Coffee 01 concept aimed at the European market. The Haval brand has not gone unnoticed either, the lineup of which has undergone a number of noticeable changes.
New Haval First Love
So, the First Love crossover, which is sold in Russia as Jolion, has undergone restyling on the home market. Moreover, in this case, we are talking more about an unplanned modernization, since Haval did not make any statements that it intends to modify this SUV. As a result, after the changes made, First Love acquired a new radiator grille with a fine metal mesh. The front bumper has been replenished with decorative inserts that "cut" the central air intake.
It is not known whether there have been changes in the cabin. But the Chinese media reported that First Love will now be equipped with a 2-liter turbocharged engine. Recall that the Jolion presented in Russia is equipped with a 1.5-liter supercharged unit. The maximum power of the new engine reaches 211 hp, the torque is 325 N * m. The timing of the release of such a crossover to the home market has not yet been announced.
Haval H6S
Along with the expansion of the motor range at First Love, Haval has completely declassified the new coupe-like crossover H6S. This model turned out to be larger in comparison with its prototype H6. Its length has increased by 74 mm, width - by 54 mm. The car is equipped with three screens, including one projection screen. Together with the Haval H6S, the aforementioned 211-horsepower turbo engine is proposed, which is combined with the same 7-speed "robot".
However, the Haval H6S was one of the first products of the Chinese brand to receive a hybrid installation. It is based on a 1.5-liter turbo engine, which, together with an electric motor, produces up to 243 hp. In terms of Russian currency, the Chinese crossover in the home market is estimated at a minimum of 1.58 million rubles.
Haval H9
Also, all the new generation Haval H9 configurations have become known. This large SUV is offered on the home market for a minimum of 2.36 million rubles. The car is equipped with three rows of leather-trimmed seats and a set of equipment typical of the premium class. The new Haval H9 is powered by the old 2-liter turbo engine, which reaches 224 hp. with a maximum thrust of 385 N * m.
