The crossover line of the Chinese brand Haval, which is part of Great Wall, has expanded significantly over the past few years. And if earlier the list of compartment SUV representatives of the brand was limited to the F7x and H6 Coupe models, now this list has been supplemented also thanks to the new H6S SUV. The day before, this model was shown at an auto show in Chengdu, China.
The demonstrated novelty is built on the basis of the standard "six" of the third generation, due to which it is based on a completely different concept. So, the exterior of the SUV is very close to the image of a shark due to the installation of the original body kit and a number of other details. If we compare the dimensions of the compartment cross and the standard Haval H6, then the length of the new H6S has grown immediately by 74 mm, and in width - by 54. These parameters are 4727 and 1940 mm, respectively. The distance between the axles has not changed - 2738 mm.
The interior of the Chinese novelty looks quite stylish. The designers decided to use carbon-like decor, as well as sports seats with stitching and comfortable headrests. The list of available options for the new Haval H6S includes: a digital dashboard, a projection screen on the windshield, a circular video review and a host of various driver assistants.
It is also reported that for the basic trim levels of the cross, the manufacturer will offer a 2-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 211 horsepower. The front-wheel drive system will act as a couple for him. As an alternative for more expensive modifications, a hybrid engine based on a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine will be offered. In total, this system will be able to produce 243 hp. In the domestic market, the SUV should debut this year, and its price will be equivalent to 1, 58-1, 76 million rubles.
