Haval has announced that the next-generation H9 SUV will be officially unveiled at the Chengdu Auto Show. The event opens on August 29th. At the same time, the manufacturer revealed some details about its new product. And the information released indicates that the Haval H9 is now a direct competitor to the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

According to the manufacturer, the Chinese novelty is now equipped with a special system that makes it easier to overcome off-road. Also, together with the Haval H9, they will offer equipment that keeps the car from skidding on difficult surfaces, and will be supplemented with towing devices.

At the same time, the manufacturer has significantly increased the level of cabin comfort. The interior is lined with artificial leather. A 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a large touchscreen monitor, a driver fatigue monitoring sensor, interactive gesture control systems and motorist identification will be available with the SUV. In addition, the front seats will be supplemented with ventilation, electric heating, servo-drive with memory function and massage.

Under the hood of the updated Haval H9 will be placed a 2-liter supercharged engine with a maximum output of 224 hp, which is combined with lockable front and rear differentials and all-wheel drive, which supports multiple driving modes according to the type of terrain.
