The premium Japanese car brand Infiniti, which is part of the Nissan concern, has shared its plans for its own prospects in Russia next year. According to the official representatives of the auto brand, the company's management has planned the debut of two new models for the Russian market at once.
New Infiniti QX55
The first novelty of the company will be the compartment SUV Infiniti QX55, which is positioned by the manufacturer as a successor to the FX model range, which is no longer produced by Japanese developers. The new cross-coupe was presented by the developer only last month and, it must be admitted, received very good reviews from market analysts.
Under the hood of this model, the manufacturer provides for the placement of a 2-liter VC-Turbo gas engine, which is capable of operating with a capacity of 249 horsepower, and also delivering up to 380 N * m of torque. Together with this power unit, Japanese developers installed a variator, as well as an all-wheel drive system.
As an available equipment for a coupe-like cross, one can note the installation of two touchscreen displays in the cabin, one of which is used to control the built-in functionality of the multimedia system, and the other is required to make adjustments to the climate control unit.
QX60 Monograph Concept
Another novelty, the exact date of appearance of which cannot yet be predicted, is the new Infiniti QX60 crossover. It is expected that the official presentation of new items should take place only in the spring. For the first time, the release of a new generation of the SUV became known in September this year, when the concept cross QX60 Monograph was presented to the public. This prototype received as equipment LED head optics, a relief bonnet cover, very powerful wheel arches, a spoiler, a panoramic roof and original aluminum wheels.
What characteristics the new model will have is not yet definitively known. According to auto experts, a 2-liter turbo engine can be installed under the hood of the new crossover, which is capable of delivering 272 horsepower. The Japanese model Infiniti QX50 is currently equipped with a similar power unit.
