Nissan unveiled the latest Infiniti QX55 crossover a few days ago. The information published after this shows that the Japanese model surpasses similar SUVs Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, BMW X4 and Audi Q5 Sportback in a number of indicators. Moreover, despite its superiority, the Infiniti QX55 turned out to be even cheaper than some competitors.
It is stated that the Japanese novelty is equipped with a 2-liter turbocharged engine with variable compression technology, which develops up to 271 hp. power and 380 N * m of torque. The BMW X4 is equipped with a 248-horsepower engine, the Audi Q5 Sportback with 261-horsepower, and the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe with 255 horsepower. That is, the Japanese novelty turned out to be more powerful than its competitors. That being said, Audi will soon launch the updated SQ5, powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter engine that produces up to 355 hp. and 500 N * m of torque. The Q5 Sportback will also have a hybrid version with 265 hp. and a thrust of 370 N * m. But both modifications of the German crossover will cost significantly more than even the top-end Infiniti QX55.
One of the advantages of the Japanese novelty is that on its center console there are 2 touch monitors with a diagonal of 7 and 8 inches. No German model can boast of such an interior configuration. Already with the basic version of the Infiniti QX55, buyers get an imitation leather trim, aluminum inserts in the cabin, an electric sunroof and heated front seats.
The Audi Q5 Sportback draws attention with its signature cabin with a 10.1 "touchscreen monitor that mates with a 12.3" digital instrument cluster. The BMW X4 provides multimedia with support for voice commands. The Bavarian model comes with a 10, 25-inch touchscreen and an electric tailgate. In the basic version of the GLC Coupe, you can also find 2 digital displays with a diagonal of 12.3 inches. This model is also available with a 3.0-liter turbo engine developing up to 390 hp. and 521 N * m. The AMG version of the GLC Coupe is equipped with a turbo engine, which, depending on the modification, produces up to 476 or 510 hp. and 650 or 700 N * m of thrust.
The above information shows that Infiniti offers a more attractive entry-level crossover in both price and equipment. However, the cars of the German troika look better when it comes to their top-end modifications.
