The updated premium crossover Infiniti QX50, which is the most affordable SUV of the Japanese brand, was officially presented by the manufacturer on the first day of the opened auto show in Guangzhou. And we are talking about the presentation of two different modifications at once - the classic version, as well as a limited edition of the 30th Anniversary.
The novelty is distinguished by a very memorable, modern exterior, which speaks of the manufacturer's rather selective approach to the formation of the model's image (photo: autohome.com.cn). The exterior of the new Infiniti QX50 is aesthetically pleasing and graceful on the one hand, and strength and power on the other. The special Black package adds solidity to the image of the SUV, which includes the installation of a black radiator grill, similar in shade to the side mirror housings, as well as large 20-inch alloy wheels that have received an original design. The dimensions of the body of the presented premium crossover are 4705x1903x1678 mm, and its distance between the axles is 2798 mm.
As for the interior decoration of the Japanese novelty, the salon completely traces the approach of the company's designers, which they use when creating other models of the brand. The central panel is equipped with two large displays at once, which allow you to control the built-in capabilities of the navigation system, multimedia, audio installation and the climate control unit. In a similar style, the manufacturer performed the interior of the Infiniti QX80, which has recently gone on sale in the Russian market. This decision suggests that from a technical point of view, the new Japanese premium cross has turned out to be quite modern and progressive. The seats are finished in leather, which is painted in a white and blue tint.
The technical capabilities of the new crossover are represented by a 2-liter turbo engine that can develop 180 or 200 horsepower. The engine torque in any of the variations is 380 N * m. Depending on the type of modification, the cross is equipped with a leading front or all-wheel drive. As a transmission, the car is equipped with a continuously variable variator.
The chassis of the cross, as in the previous variation, is represented by independent suspensions at the front and rear, which speaks of its high driving characteristics, suggesting the comfort of passengers in the cabin.
